Odds Or Evens Wins Best Community Short Film

Congrats to our cast, crew and donors for winning “best community short film” at the Oak Cliff Film Festival. There is plenty of filmmaking talent in Texas and being selected the best local short is truly an honor.

Here’s a wrap-up of the festival in the Oak Cliff Advocate.

A Preview Of The Oak Cliff Film Festival

Some of the filmmakers at this year’s festival sat down with the OCFF folks to talk about their films. “Odds or Evens” gets some nice play right about the 3:25 mark.

deadCENTER Screening Leaves Us Starry Eyed

Odds or Evens cast & crew at deadCENTER. Left to right: Adam Schmidt, Jeff Adair, Dave French, Charles Baker, Jay Gormley & John Venable

That… or perhaps it’s just a bad picture. In either case, we could not have been more thrilled with the reception we received at our two screenings at the deadCENTER Film Festival in OKC. During our first showing, you could literally hear a collective gasp from the entire audience at the very moment we had hoped for.  In our case, a gasp is a wonderful thing.

Thanks to everyone at deadCENTER.  We had a blast.  Now on to the Oak Cliff Film Festival this weekend for a gasping good time.
